Chronic renal disease is classifed as CKD 1-5 according to the severity.
Stage 1- GFR (ml/min/1.73m2) >90
Stage 2- GFR (ml/min/1.73m2) 60-80
Stage 3- GFR (ml/min/1.73m2) 30-59
Stage 4- GFR (ml/min/1.73m2) 15-29
Stage 5- GFR (ml/min/1.73m2) <15
Howevever, estimated GFR is not validated to use in pregnancy.
